Troy Thomas is an active percussionist, specializing as a steel pan soloist and ensemble performer, as well as a drum set player.

As a pannist, Troy has performed as a soloist on Tenor, Double Seconds, and Triple Cello Pans. He as also perfomed in several steel drum bands in the Northeast and Southeast United States. Troy is extremely passionate about the steel pan as an instrument, specifically in advancing its use in K-12 education.

As a drum set player, troy has studied and perfomed in a variety of styles, such as pop, rock, funk, and jazz, as well as various styles from around the world, such as soca and calypso.
